Half of Canadian firms plan to promote financial teams in 2022

Talent in demand may be offered higher salaries – 46% of firms said they are raising starting salaries – and signing bonuses to attract applicants (30%).

Other benefits include increased paid time off and greater flexibility such as working from home or hybrid working.

However, employers see remote work as giving them more ‘compensation flexibility’, suggesting that professionals looking to work from home may have to settle on pay and other financial compensation.
