Following Enart’s position, Manulife announced that Richard McIntyre will succeed him as President and CEO of Manulife Securities, effective today.
McIntyre joined Manulife Investment Management in February 2021 as Head of Sales, Manulife Securities. During his career spanning more than 25 years, McIntyre has led many key aspects of the wealth management industry, working with independent financial advisors in both Canada and the UK.
“As President and CEO, Richard will play an integral role in prioritizing the advisory experience in all aspects of our strategy,” Manulife said. In his new role, McIntyre will report to Leo Zarilli, Canada’s Head of ManuLife Investment Management.
In line with the change in leadership, Manulife Investment Management revealed that it will focus on accelerating its growth in 2022, along with plans to implement a new mentoring model that complements its Manulife Securities, Manulife Private Wealth and Planright Advice businesses. will bring it together.
